Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

A week last Monday I suffered from hemorrhage in the cornea of the left eye. Blood splashed the entire ball and water formed behind the cornea the hindered my vision and caused me to see as if there were drops of water like seeing thru glass on a rainy day. I could see everything clearly but I could not read small letters with my left eye.

I went straight to the eye doctor who referred me to the Hadassah Hospital Medical Emergency, the best hospital in Israel and the Middle East located in Ain Kerem, the home town of John the Baptist.

After being in and out of the hospital for 4 days and after all kinds of expensive tests and diagnosis it was decided by the doctor and another professor that rather than go thru the laser surgery route, they are going to give me needle shots in the white of my eye to absorb the blood and water cloud. They gave me the first shot right in the white of the eye and it was very painful.

There has been very good improvement of about 80%. This treatment is going to go on for months. There is an occlusion in the main vein in that eye that needs to be opened up. With shots they hope to dissolve any clots there. If I had suffered the hemorrhage in the retina, I would have lost my eye.
