Dear Pastor and Congregation,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We trust you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We wish you a revival of souls saved in 2010!
In 2009 we had 21 people saved, 8 baptized, 1 church established, and 1 man surrender to the ministry. The work on the Arabic Reference Study Bible still goes strong. We need your prayers and financial funding for it. This ARSB project has been thru thick and thin for 29 years, and God has salvaged it every single time. This project is going to cross the finish line in less than 2 years and the Word of God is going to prevail! "The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it "(Psalm 68:11)! Be a winner and help us.
Regarding the car project that we had mentioned in our last Progress Report, not much funding came in. Since as a general rule we use the response of our supporting churches as one of the barometers of knowing God's will for our ministry; this means God wants us to stick to the van that we have and just repair it. And we are doing just that.
We are doing well and the work of the ministry is "business as usual". We are planning for 2 great Sundays ahead of us. Sunday January 24, 2010 when we have our church's 4th anniversary (My how time flies); and Sunday January 31, 2010 when Rev. Nathan Cook of Riverside, CA and Dr. John Waldrip of Monrovia, CA will be preaching all day long for us.
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phil 1:21).
