Dear Pastor and Congregation,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We returned from our furlough on August 11th, 2009. My assistant did a good job in my absence; for which I am very thankful. Once he finishes his education with Louisiana Baptist University, next Summer hopefully, we will ordain him and turn the work over to him.
We resumed our ministry with a full paint job for both church and home. Everything looked nice with a fresh new look.
We have begun experiencing car problems. Last month, a short trip to the garage with axe and brake problems cost us $ 1,300.00. Last Saturday, October 10th, the engine light came on. We went to the garage and had it fixed. Today October 15th, the light came back on again. This is frustrating and a waste of money and time. We are considering trading it for a newer larger van that can seat 10 or 11 people which is something needed in our ministry. Our car is worth 10 grand. We will need in excess of twenty five grand for a 2007 model; as taxes in Israel are 100%. Will you remember us this Christmas with a special gift?! You will store up treasure in Heaven, and we can use the van to reach more souls, more effectively.
The Rapture is ever so imminent!
Jesus is returning sooner than you think!
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!!!
