Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Last Summer of 2008 we did our East Coast and Mid West short furlough, and this Summer we came home to do our West Coast one. On the morning of August 11th we fly back to the field.

Catching up with the wonderful Progress Report that we sent out to you on April 15th where we told you about this last year alone we had 11 souls saved and six baptized and Christians grow and one church man member surrender to the ministry and a new church planted in Southern Lebanon, we are now trying to tell you that this has not come without a price!

We have had people try to set a fire close to my van. We have had people throw stones at our church. We have had people cuss us out on the streets. We have had people throw stones at our home and in one instance they broke three windows, one of which was our daughter's bedroom window glass - she panicked and was afraid to sleep in her room. A month ago we have had persecution in the form of a fire set close to gas jars close to the church trying to cause us hurt. We know that the Bible tells us that " all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution " 2 Timothy 3:12, yet we ask you to pray for our safety and fruitfulness in the ministry as we prepare to return for our 5th term on the field.
