Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Thank you for you prayers for us. We are well and safe from harm.

We had been back to the field 40 days and had already won 8 people to the Lord and baptized 6. Since then we have had 5 more people saved! Praise The Lord!

But this has not come without a price. Last week, on December 30, 2008, our church was burglarized. Many items were stolen such as the church computer and accessories, organ, sound mixer, a huge speaker, calculator, microwave machine, 2 big recorders, a large floor carpet for the Sunday School children, etc…Our loss was estimated at Shekels 28,500.00 equaling $ 7,700.00. The Police told us that the chances of finding the stolen items were unfortunately minimal. Although Spiritually we are wining the lost to Christ, yet materially we are weaklings. Please pray with us about this situation and help us financially if you can.

My people say that they are comforted by the words of Hebrews 10:34 "For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance ". To me this is all what the third phase of the Great Commission is all about: Building souls in Christ to "Stand Up For Jesus". For, if I may borrow the verse from John the Beloved apostle, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth" I John 4.

Many years ago I had raised funds for the Arabic Reference Study Bible. With what remained after expenses plus what was raised recently, the work on the A.R.S.B. is still alive and will continue to go strong until the end of June 2009.
