Dear pastor and congregation,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
On Sunday the 20th of January 2008 we celebrated the second anniversary of establishment of our church. We thank God for his goodness to us for these two fruitful years and we thank you for being His instruments in helping planting this church here in Jerusalem, Israel.
As we enter the third year, we have 3 goals that we desire your prayers for: 1 - For the man that I am training to turn over the work to when he graduates from Louisiana Baptist University correspondence program in May of 2009. 2- For the extensive soul winning visitation we are doing to build up the church attendance. 3- For the Arabic Reference Study Bible - A.R.S.B that I am working on along with my team. We need $ 70,000.- in funds, $3,000.- have come in so far. We still need $ 67,000.-. Please pray with us for this project that will impact the whole Middle East with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Like I mentioned in our previous Progress Report, in the Summer of 2008 we will be coming on furlough to visit our supporting churches on the East Coast and in the Mid West. I will be calling you soon to set up a date to come visit your church. You may also allow me to visit you on a regular week day, have lunch with you, and show you the ministry on my lap top or even give you a Power Point CD that you can show to your church people.
In the Summer of 2009 we will visit our on the West Coast.
As the Holy Spirit continues to work in our midst, I would like to share with you the following high lights: 1- Seven weeks ago I won a 23 old man to the Lord Jesus while on visitation. 2 - Four Sundays ago, after the evening service, a 20 old young man felt the urge in his heart- work of the Holy Spirit in our Bible terminology - to get saved and asked me to pray with him. I did and he trusted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour and another new name was written down in Glory. 3- Last Sunday morning we had six new faces in the morning service.
"Partaker(s) of the afflictions of the Gospel according to the power of God who has saved us and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works"
