Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The ministry has been doing very well. Since the upheaval that arose last October the living situation has been dangerous and there where several instances where I had close calls. For example, one day when I was near the city walls running some errands and following up on a first time visitor of the services, all of a sudden I got trapped in an ambush where two Palestinian Moslems attacked and shot in the head two Israeli security guards on duty in front a medical center. 35 seconds prior to the shooting I was within 3 feet of the two Israeli guards talking to a local servant of God and I was carrying a bag containing Bibles that read "The Bible Society." They would have probably shot me thinking they were doing God service (John16:2). That is why I am serious when I write you a special request asking for your prayer support. In my past 19 years in the ministry many times I have gone through danger and I've said that what has kept me alive was the prayer of the saints for me. Thank you and God Bless and reward you. The adverse conditions have had a positive impact on the ministry. The attendance grew and at one time I had 8 families partially or fully present in the services on Sunday. Our highest was 41. We even had two American tourists in the services once!

For three Sundays in a row we had the best Sundays in 5 years since the inception of this ministry. After taking time off to be with my family I came back to win a person to the Lord JESUS. I had been dealing with him for 3 years. After a few months my family will rejoin me for the ministry that God has called us to here in Jerusalem.

Then, I need a vehicle. For 2 years now I have been trying to raise funds to purchase a newer one to replace the van that broke down in active duty! I have over $7,000 raised so far. To get a decent 1998 or 1999 station wagon or van we need around $20,000 to 22,000. Please pray with us for this need.
